The Chemfort™ SP Bag Adapter connects to IV bags and other containers with a proximal tip connector, turning them into closed connections.

The SP Bag Adapter does not require priming and has an opaque tail, which provides visual confirmation when placing an IV set. In addition, the SP Bag Adapter does not have a twist-off tip port or pinch clip, requiring fewer handling steps.

The SP Bag Adapter allows for simple drug dilution and safe transfer of medication from a syringe to the IV container by simply clicking a Syringe Adapter (SA) / Syringe Adapter Lock (SAL) onto the side port of the SP Bag Adapter. Chemfort™ septa can be punctured up to 10 times, preventing drug leakage and contamination
